Coding Skills: Future Developments 4.0

I want to add in player armor and a boss fight with some major new player movement concepts, such as strafing and pivoting. Player Armor: This would be fairly easy on the visual side, but tedious to create in the coding aspect of it. To create a set of armor, I would first need to go to the player model and pick out which areas of the model I wanted to have armor on. I want to have armor on the head, chest and waist. This means I would need to create three separate gameobjects for one set of armor to have a completel set. I would then need an avatar mask to create a new set of clothes, or another layer of visual armor to create the impression that something is there. As for the functionality, I'll need a separate function to add damage reduction in terms of percentages when this layer mask is active.

Boss Fight:

A boss fight will be essentially one large enemy with a visibly large healthbar and name. I can also try and include different phases to the boss, such as if health drops below 40% it becomes faster and stronger. This will be similar to a regular enemy.

Strafing and pivoting: Both of these are essential in combat games. Strafing means looking forward while moving to the right or left, generally to evade attacks, or move away from something while keeping you eyes on it. Pivoting involves turning 90 or 180 degress very quickly at the push of a button. These both should be easy to implement. since they just require rotation and movement.
